How Do I Register?

Personal Online Banking
It’s quick and easy to register for Personal Online Banking with Maritime Savings Bank. All you need to get started is a personal computer with Internet access, an e-mail address and a Maritime account.

Click here to go directly to the first time enrollment page.

You will begin by entering the following information:
  • If this is a personal account, your 9-digit Social Security Number (do not enter dashes).

  • If this is a business account, enter a “1” followed by your 9-digit Employer Identification Number (do not enter dashes). Example: If your EIN is 12-3456789, you would enter it as 1123456789.

  • Your 10-digit Account Number (without dashes, including leading zeros).

  • Your First and Last Name as it appears on your account. If this is a business account, enter part of the company name in the First Name field and the rest of the name in the Last Name field. It does not matter how you divide the name, but since both are required fields, you must enter something in each name field.

  • The E-mail Address where you would like us to send any messages about banking.

  • A Security Question and Security Answer to help us verify who you are should you forget your password. In order to re-activate your access, we would identify you by asking this question and matching your answer with the one you enter on this form. You can choose any question you wish, but make sure it is easy for you to remember and difficult for others to guess. For example, "What is your father's middle name?"
Once you submit the application and we are able to verify the information you entered, you will be prompted to create an Access ID and Password. As always, we urge you to choose a Password that is easy for you to remember but would be difficult for others to figure out. NEVER write down your log in information or share your Password with anyone else.

Ready to get started? Simply gather the information you'll need to enter and click here. If you need assistance as you go, please refer to the instructions that appear on the enrollment screens or give us a call at (414) 328-2784.

Business Online Banking

A Treasury Services Coordinator will assess your company’s situation and customize your online banking set-up specifically for your needs. To sign up for Bill Pay, you must have a Maritime checking or money market account and you must first register for Personal Online Banking following the instructions above.

Once you are logged in to Personal Online Banking, click on either your checking account number or money market account number from the account list. Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How current is the account information available online?

A: Maritime’s Online Banking uses a “real time” system. This means that your account balance(s) are updated constantly throughout the day. It also means that you are able to review account transactions almost immediately after they happen. However, please be aware that all transactions posted after 6:00 pm CDT won’t be effective until the next business day.

Q: Can I really access Maritime’s Online Banking anytime, anywhere?

A: Yes – with just a few exceptions. For the Personal Online Banking system, there is one scheduled maintenance period each week from 11:00 pm CT Sunday to 3:00 am CT Monday. For the Business Online Banking system, there is one scheduled maintenance period each week from 11:00 pm CT Saturday to 7:00 am CT Sunday. Online Banking may be unavailable during these periods. Also, your access may be limited if you attempt to log in using an Internet browser that is not deemed secure. (This is rare, as most browsers, including the more recent versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator, are secure.)

Q: Can I open an account online?

A: At this time, Maritime Savings Bank’s policy requires that we identify all account holders in person when a new account is opened. This measure helps us reduce the risk of identity theft and other types of fraud. Therefore, new accounts can only be opened at our branches.

Q: How safe is Online Banking with Maritime Savings Bank?

A: At Maritime, protecting the sensitive information of those we serve is a top priority. To that end, a lot of time and research has gone into the creation of our online services. By employing several layers of the latest technology, including 128-bit encryption and a sophisticated firewall system, we have ensured that Online Banking with Maritime Savings Bank is as safe and secure as possible.

Q: What happens if I enter my password incorrectly or forget my password?

A: When you log in to Online Banking, you are allowed three chances to enter your password correctly. If you enter the incorrect password three times, you will be locked out of the system. This lock out is a security measure designed to protect your information. If you have forgotten your password or if you have been locked out of the Online Banking system, please contact our Account Servicing department at (414) 328-2784.

Q: Do I have to change my password?

A: It depends whether you use Personal Online Banking or Business Online Banking. Once you set up your Access ID and password, our Personal Online Banking system will not prompt you to change your password. However, it may be a good idea to change your password periodically to ensure your safety. Changing your password is relatively easy and can be done from the Options menu once you log in. If you use Business Online Banking, you will be prompted to change your password periodically. Regardless of which service you use, if you believe that someone has learned your Online Banking password, please contact our Account Servicing department immediately at (414) 328-2784.

Q: Can I e-mail questions about my account to you? How secure is e-mail?

A: Because e-mail is NOT secure, we strongly recommend that you do not send us any e-mails containing sensitive information such as account numbers, Social Security Numbers, balances, etc. To ask specific account questions, please call us at (414) 328-2784 instead. If you have general questions, you can click here to send us an e-mail.

Q: How quickly are payments processed through MSB's Bill Pay feature? Can I set up future payments?

A: Payments entered at least four business days prior to their due date are guaranteed to be received on or before the due date. You can arrange one-time payments or repeating payments for bills you get every month. You can also schedule payments for future dated processing to help ensure payments are made on time.
